How to Report a Crime

  1. If you have been the victim of a crime, witnessed a crime, or believe a crime is about to occur; contact the UNC Charlotte Police & Public Safety immediately at 704-687-2200 or call 911 and a police officer will be sent to your location to assist you.
  2. If you do not wish to report your personal information, but still wish to report the incident, please use the Anonymous Crime Reporting link found on the Police & Public Safety’s Website.
  3. For members or visitors of the campus community, who do not wish to report incidents directly to the Police & Public Safety department, but wish to speak to someone about an incident may contact the Title IX Coordinator (Title IX) or a Campus Security Authority
